"God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
                     Or has He spoken,
and will He not make it good?"

                          NOTE:
** WHEN JESUS SAYS SOMETHING, IT ABSOLUTELY MUST BE TRUE
SINCE JESUS CANNOT LIE!** The Pharisees were the religious "righteous" of their day and these religious righteous in no way "qualify" to get into heaven.
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God 2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. If we can't be righteous on our own (or try to live like Pharisees) then there must be another righteousness not of or from ourselves, but is instead given to us!(Jesus) John 8: 3-12 3 Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, 4 they said to Him, "Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. 5 "Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?" 6 This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. 7 So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, "He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first." 8 And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. 9 Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, "Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?" 11 She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more." 12 Then Jesus spoke to them again saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." Jesus forgives the woman and tells her to go and sin no more. How is that possible? How can the woman sin no more? 1) The woman put her faith in Jesus. 2) The forgiven can sin no more. Let's talk more on this subject. . . God cannot see sin without destroying it. By placing one's faith in Jesus Christ, God (the Father) looks through Jesus (the Son of God) who is perfect and righteous and only through Jesus can God see you. You cannot see, hear, or reach God, and God cannot see, hear, or reach you. Only through Jesus Christ can God see, hear, and reach us! Jesus placed our sins on Himself and paid the price for us by being crucified on the cross. Our unrighteousness and imperfection were made righteous and perfect by HIS crucifixion and most importantly by HIS RESURRECTION! GOD CANNOT SEE SIN OR IMPERFECTION WITHOUT DESTROYING IT!!! Those who have NOT place their faith in Jesus Christ still live in the flesh. If these people want to get into heaven (without Christ) then they must be better and more righteous than any of the Pharisees. In other words, their righteousness must equal that of Christ Himself, or BE PERFECT! CHRIST TOOK OUR SIN AND PLACED IT ON HIMSELF. HE WAS CRUCIFIED
FOR OUR SAKE SO THAT HE COULD TAKE HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PLACE
IT BACK ON US! THAT'S WHY CHRIST DIED FOR US.
HIS SACRAFICE IS THE ONLY WAY YOU AND I (WHO ARE ANYTHING BUT PERFECT), WILL EVER GET INTO HEAVEN. HALLELUJAH! REMEMBER ALWAYS... THE REQUIREMENTS FOR HEAVEN ARE: 1) YOUR FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST 2) YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST
Romans 5: 6-11 6 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. Our departing thought. . . Finally, at the end when we are standing before the gates of heaven and are awaiting our final judgement, we may be pondering the question, "Am I good enough?" We are suprised when we find out that the real questions Jesus the Christ will ask are: "Do you know Me?" "Do I know you?" Back to New Testament Truth>>
